Using System Backup
This small and quick tutorial will guide you through the basic steps needed to learn how to backup/restore your system.
1. Launch Registry Toolkit and click on the < Start System Backup > link in the left bottom part of the window. To do this you should first click on the corresponding item in the right part of the window.
2. To backup your system simply press the Backup System button. You will be prompted to enter a description name for the restore point that is about to be created. So enter it and press OK. This will cause the system to create a new restore point.
3. To restore system settings select corresponding checkpoint in the list and press Restore System button. You will be prompted to close all running applications, because the system will need to reboot to successfully complete the restore process.
4. If you would like to enlarge amount of disk space for System Backup or change life time of your backups then press Configuration button. You will see a new window where you can change these and other settings. Changing of configuration settings is available for registered users only.
